Sara Green Glover, age 82, passed away on June 29, 2026, in Midland City, Alabama.
Sara was born on July 30, 1943, in Dale County, Alabama. She retired from civil service at Ft. Rucker after many years of dedicated service. She was known for her strong work ethic and stayed active even after retirement, always keeping herself busy.
More than anything, Sara loved her family. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Malone and Anita Ray; her grandchildren, Amanda Malone, Emily Taylor (Andrew), Stevie Lennicx (Bryan), Morgan Greggs, and Alex Greggs (Lauralee); and her great-grandchildren, Elijah and Lysi. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Lindsey, and her brother-in-law, Ken Fluker. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Vicki Moore and Sue Fluker.
To her grandchildren, she was simply “G.” It was a name that reflected the close bond they shared and the special place she held in their lives. She loved spending time with her family, and some of her happiest moments were those spent together, making memories that will be cherished for years to come.
She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching, and painting. She was rarely idle and always had a project to work on. She found joy in creating things for her family and took pride in everything she made.
Sara will be remembered for her love of family, her hardworking nature, and the kindness she showed to others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to ACG Hospice for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Sara and her family during her final days.
