Sara Louise Bowman, known lovingly as Sara, passed away on June 15, 2026, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 44.

Born on July 13, 1981, in Indiana, she lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, and a generous spirit that touched everyone who knew her. Sara was the daughter of Henry and Suzanne Pelc, and she carried the values of love, kindness, and loyalty throughout her life. She was a cherished sister to Warren, Shelly, and Keith, and she held those family bonds close to her heart.

Sara was married to her husband, Robert, for 18 years, and together they shared a life built on love, partnership, and enduring commitment. She was a loving mother to her children, Trevor, Zoe and Austin, and her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with her family. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those around her, and her love for her family was evident in all that she did.

For 26 years, Sara worked at Subway with her mom, Suzi.

Sara was truly the life of the party. She had a joyful presence that could lift the mood of any room, and she had a natural ability to make others feel welcome and included. She loved gardening and landscaping, and she found happiness in creating beauty around her. Her interests reflected her appreciation for life, growth, and the simple pleasures that bring peace and satisfaction. She was loved by many and missed by all, and her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her.

Those who knew Sara will remember her as a loving and kind woman whose compassion and warmth were evident in every part of her life. She gave freely of herself to her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the memories of those she touched.
Sara Bowman will be deeply missed by her husband, children, parents, siblings, extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her
