SHORTERVILLE. . .Selena Jane Bunch-Trammell, a resident of Shorterville, Alabama, passed away early Saturday evening, December 6, 2025, at her residence. She was 61.
There are no funeral or memorial services planned at this time. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Selena Bunch-Trammell was born and raised in Colchester, England and moved to the United States in 1992. She formerly lived in Ft. Walton, Beach and Navarre, Florida before moving to Shorterville in February 2025. Selena was preceded in death by her daughter, Kendall Bunch, her mother, Yvonne Chivers Taylor McKenna, and a sister, Maria Taylor.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Gerald Lee Trammell, a daughter, Maria Oliva (Tony), her sons, Jayden Bunch and William Trammell (Heather); her father, Tony Taylor of France; sisters, Sondra Oliver and Amanda Mardell; and a brother, Clive Taylor; grandchildren, Tanner Trammell, Issabelle Oliva, Isaac Oliva, Isaiah Oliva and Illiana Oliva; lifelong and best friend, Sarah Purkins, and her fur babies, Pumpkin, Little Man, Harley, Maximus, “BB”, and Pixie.
