Ms. Serethia Hildress Miller Qualls of Coffee Springs, AL passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 69.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Bruce Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Serethia was born on December 17, 1955, in Covington Co., AL to Edsel and Mary Lou Miller. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an outstanding southern cook who showed her love by feeding her family and friends. Serethia enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was gardening, working in her yards and flowers or spending time with Tommy, fishing. She loved her canine companions and spent many hours spoiling them.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sophie Jean Miller and a stepson, Johnny Tice.

Serethia is survived by her husband of 45 years and love of her life, Tommy Tice of Coffee Springs, AL; two daughters, Jennifer Cheatwood (Ronnie) of Enterprise, AL, and Nerissa Tedders of Geneva, AL; one stepdaughter, Jodi Lynn Tice of Level Plains, AL; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
