Sheila Marie McIntosh peacefully passed away on October 26, 2025, in Guilderland, New York, after a seven-year journey with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 84 years old and surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 27, 1940, in Mohawk, NY, Sheila lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to family. She was a devoted wife, a cherished mother to her four daughters, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

Sheila found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved creating beautiful jewelry, sharing her creativity with those she loved, and was always ready for a good card game—often delighting in winning whenever she could.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley Robert McIntosh, and is survived by her daughters Tina Weinlein of Charlotte, NC; Michele Boyd (David) of French Camp, MS; Kim Smeaton (Charles) of Schenectady, NY; and Lynn Johnson (Michael) of Chancellor, AL.

Sheila’s memory will continue to live on through her grandchildren Eric Matthews, Phil Matthews, Danielle Matthews, Zachary Johnson, Jared Johnson, Joshua Matthews, Jessica Weinlein, Ethan Revelia, Austin Boyd, Katie Bariteau, Garrett Boyd, and Marisa Weinlein, along with her great-grandchildren and all those whose lives she touched.

Her warmth, humor, and love of family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise, AL with Rev. Keith Martin officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing.
