Jordan also led the pitching staff with a (6-4) record and 2.49 ERA through 64.67 Innings. He also had 44 strikeouts with only 18 walks. Jordan was named Honorable Mention All-State, Honorable Mention Dothan Eagle Super 12, MVP, Most Outstanding Pitcher, and Team Captain of the 2014 Dothan High Baseball team.
"I am extremely proud of Jay receiving an opportunity to play baseball at the next level. Jay has been a tremendous player for us and was instrumental last year in leading Dothan to the most wins in a season since 1999. We are expecting big things out of Jay during his senior season and look forward to watching him in the future at Huntingdon. Jay's leadership, dedication, and commitment to the program will be greatly missed, but our loss will be Huntingdon's gain. We wish all of the best to Jay at Huntingdon!” says Head Coach Jared Smith.
