After winning their fifth game in a row, the Bears will host the Panthers Friday night the 20th, in the Bear Den. The Bears, under 7th year coach Toby Greene, will be seeking revenge from the close loss suffered by the Bears at the hands of the Panthers last year in Panther stadium. The score was 13-6 with Panthers scoring in the last couple of minutes to win the game. Thus far this year, the Bears own wins over Pleasant Home Eagles, Ariton Purple Cats and now the Providence Christian Eagles by a combined score of 120/14. The Bears offense, as well as the defense, is fun to watch, and I encourage all fans who are FANS OF THE BEARS, to attend the game Friday night, 7 p.m. The Bears are filling the stands like in past years. We have a renovated stadium including a new scoreboard, and awesome lighting. The Bears are led by junior quarterback, Cory Gill, and are cheered on by spirited cheerleaders and a great band led by director Mr.Chris Smith, and drum major Kalyn Delvecchio.
