
Sue Ann White Fisher of Hastings, FL passed away on Monday, January 05, 2026. She was 78.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice in Sue’s memory.
Sue was born in Geneva County, AL on December 19, 1947, to the late Ezekiel Jeremiah “Jake” and Vivian Pauline Carnley White. She had made Florida her home for many years and had proudly served as a Seminole County Sheriff Deputy, one of only a very few hired in the earlier years. She was devoted to her career and helping make a difference in her community. Sue truly had the heart to serve and wore her badge proudly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry White and an infant brother, Danney G. White.
Sue is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Fisher; one son, Michael Stephenson (Georgia) and one step-daughter, Brenda Walker (Tim); three grandchildren, Zach McCann (Raven), Lilly Schneider and Aaron Schneider; two great grandchildren, Dexter and Mazi McCann; and four siblings, Carolyn McCollough (Mike), Gertrude Daniels, Larry White (Christine) and Ray White; and a number of special cousins and extended family.
