Tammie Rhodes of Ozark, AL passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025. She was 62.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 04, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ozark, AL. with Rev. Adam Mulliner officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing.
Tammie was born in Monterey, CA on March 23, 1963 to the late David and Patricia Peacock. She devoted much of her life to caring for others, working for many years as a nurse with Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center. She had a special way of making people feel seen, comforted and cared for.
Tammie’s greatest joy was being “Nana” to her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her warm hugs, easy laughter, and the quiet strength and faith she carried.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Samuel Rhodes; one son, Sidney Dyson; her mother, Martha Peacock and two brothers, Paul Jones and Mark Peacock.
Tammie is survived by her son, Dustin Rhodes (Tara) of Samson, AL and four grandchildren, Hayden Dyson, Alex Dyson, Samuel Rhodes and Mallory Rhodes.
