Teresa Ann (Smith) Cook

Teresa Ann (Smith) Cook, 62, a resident of Ashford, passed away, Thursday, April 23, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Ashford with Reverend Mike Grimes officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Dothan directing. The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to, Grandview Baptist Church Building Fund, 2400 Forrester Road, Cowarts, AL 36312.

Teresa was born May 23, 1963, in Donalsonville, Georgia to Billy Ray Smith & Charlotte Ann Mosley. She spent the early years of her life in Dothan and was 1981 graduate of Dothan High School. She worked for many years for Vend Serve and spent over 15 years working as a clerk with Alabama Beverage Control until her retirement. Outside of work, Teresa enjoyed playing softball most of her life, and she was of Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Cook; her father, Billy Ray Smith; and her grandparents.

She is survived by her son, Briceson Cook of Ashford; her mother and step-father, Charlotte Ann Morris (Doug) of Dothan; her two brothers, Anthony Ray Smith (Marie), and Timothy Jerome Smith both of Dothan; her two nephews, Trent Smith (Maegon), and Paxton Smith; her two great-nephews, Griggs & Christian Smith; and a special pet, Hank.
