
Thomas Marshall “Tommy” Davis II passed away on the 20th of May 2026. Tommy was born on the 8th of December 1950 in Columbus, Georgia and lived there until moving to Eufaula and Dothan before 1990. He was the son of Thomas “Marshall” Davis and Eula Reaves Davis, long-time residents of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Tamara Rose Davis, a half-sister, Faith Davis Hintze, and a half-brother, Byron Marshall Hyde.
He is survived by his brother, Durwood (Harriet) Davis of Thomson, GA, two sons, Marshall (Sarah) Davis, of Anderson, SC, and Tyler (Ashley) Davis, of Pensacola, FL, two step-daughters, Tiffany Ard and Tabitha Rutherford, of Panama City, FL, three grandsons, Marshall and Sidney Davis, and Trent Rutherford, and three granddaughters, Rylynn and Brynnlee Davis, and Katelyn Hinson, several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, hunting, and his family. Generations enjoyed his expertise and guidance that developed trophy-earning anglers and hunters for decades.
A memorial service is scheduled on June 19, 2026 at Ward-Wilson Funeral Home in Dothan, AL at 2:00 PM CDT, 3:00 PM EDT.
