TRACI PRICE GERSHOM
ABBEVILLE… Traci Price Gershom, a resident of the Screamer Community near Abbeville, Alabama, passed away early Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, at her home. She was 59.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 04, 2026, at Old Zion Baptist Church in Abbeville, Alabama, with Brother Ronnie Kelley officiating.
Traci was born in Moultrie, Georgia, to George Price and the late Frances Strange Price. A proud member of the Colquitt County High School Class of 1984, she carried with her the values of hard work, kindness, and dedication throughout her life.
For many years, Traci worked as an administrative assistant, where her strong work ethic, organizational skills, and friendly personality made her a valued colleague and friend to many. She took pride in helping others and was always willing to lend a hand whenever needed.
Traci was a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite team. Whether watching a game at home or discussing the latest season with family and friends, her love for baseball brought her great joy.
Above all else, Traci’s greatest love was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She found happiness in family gatherings, celebrations, and the simple everyday moments that created lasting memories. Her love, laughter, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her.
Traci will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, her sense of humor, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. Her memory will forever be treasured by those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband, Robbie Gershom; children, JP Hilley (Allana), Hailee Sheppard (James), Tristan Edmondson, Brian Edmondson, Elaina Coach Frederick (Lawrence), Brianna Edmondson, Stefanie Edmondson, James Edmondson (Deanna), Ryan Wiggins (Nikki), Taylor Cook (Jason); grandchildren, Ayden-Allin Sheppard, Lillyanne Sheppard, Jamie Sheppard, Lila Hilley, Ruby Hilley, Gabriel Edmondson, Ayla Coach, James Edmondson, Jr., Marie Edmondson, Noah Edmondson, Colton Wiggins, Ava Wiggins, Lane Wiggins, Cohen Cook, Eli Edmondson; father, George Price; father-in-law, Herman Norman; several other loving family members and friends.
