Troy Adams

Troy Adams, 58, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026, surrounded by his daughters and their mother.

Troy was born on June 10, 1968, in Dothan to Billy Joe Adams and Ann Haywood. He graduated from Dothan High School in 1987. His biggest love was his two girls, fishing, and sharing stories with friends and neighbors. Above all, Troy cherished every moment with his two girls, who were the pride and joy of his life.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Eugene Sanders, grandparents, Crawford and Bill Adams, David and Bessie Haywood, parents, Billy Joe (Goat) Adams and Martha Ann Haywood. His uncle, Bobby Adams.

Troy is survived by his children, Taylor Adams and Dallas Adams, both of Dothan; his brothers, Scott Adams (Gwynne) of Denham Springs, LA, Tracy Adams (Tammy) of Ashford; special cousins, Josh Adams (Lauren) of Daphne, and Gail Chandler (Rick); the mother of his children, Susan Adams of Daphne; very special mentors, Don Clements and Mickey Shelley; along with many nieces, extended family members, and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2026, at Glover Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Grimes officiating. Burial will follow at Howard Grove Church Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home of Dothan directing. Flowers will be accepted.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Glover Funeral Home the night prior to the funeral service.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Randy Roland, Ronnie Roland, Carl Womack, Michael Capehart, Charles Love, Charles Ray Adams, Ronnie Andrews, and Billy Snell.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the “Broadway Café Table of Knowledge”, Billy Gilmer, and J.J. Sheppard, Sr.
