Wanda Louise Mock Jones of Samson, Alabama was called home on Saturday, February 07, 2026. She was 63.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Baine, Sister Brenda Jones and Rev. Ron Thames officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel Assembly of God cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10 a.m. Flowers will be accepted.

Wanda was born on December 27,1962 in Dunedin, FL to Jim Junior Mock and the late Thelma Louise Boyd Mock.  She was an avid lover of the outdoors, where she enjoyed gardening and working in her yards. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed baking. She was widely known by her family for baking her “special” chocolate cake for her cousins. This special recipe will forever be remembered by those who indulged in that particular occasion. Wanda was always playing pranks on family and friends. She was a very talented piano player and loved to sing from her earliest childhood. She also loved going to yard sales and thrifting. She was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Wanda was loved and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her life partner, John Brannon.

Wanda is survived by two daughters, Amanda Baine (Jim) and Brandy Redmon (Sam), all of Enterprise, AL; one grandson, Brayden Baine of Enterprise, AL; father, Jim Jr. Mock (Kitty) of Samson, AL; four siblings, Lisa Ann Mock of Elba, AL, Jim Jr. Mock, II (Amy) of Kinsey, AL, Crystal Reid (Brian) and Cody Mock (Taylor), all of Samson, AL; and a number of special nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Reid, Dawson Reid, Luke Reid, Cody Mock, Brayden Baine and Tripp Davis.
