Willie Pat Bynum, a resident of Enterprise, Alabama and formerly of Eufaula, Alabama, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Southeast Health in Dothan. He was 86 years old.
Memorial graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Pea River Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Ray Cureton officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Flowers will be accepted, or contributions can be made to one’s favorite charity.
Pat was born on July 4, 1939, in Bakerhill, Alabama, to the late Malcolm Curtis and Bessie Lee Wilkerson Bynum. He was a 1957 graduate of Bakerhill High School and retired after 24 years of service with the United States Coast Guard. Pat enjoyed golfing, collecting, and family history. He was a member of the Eufaula VFW, Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Eufaula and attended Pea River Presbyterian Church in Clio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Sarah Ann Williams Bynum and Rebecca Ann Bynum; six brothers, Selma Rodney Bynum, Perry Bynum, Chester Bynum, Wayne Bynum, Billy Bynum, and David Bynum; three sisters, Helen Bynum, Grace Bynum, and Mary Lou Bynum.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Barbara Bynum; nephew, Bruce Bynum (Teresa).
