Yolanda was born in Ozark, AL on January 21, 1952, to the late Athenian and Jo Versie Peacock Holley.

She spent many years working at Crews BBQ in Samson, Alabama, alongside her longtime companion, Raymond Crews. During that time, she became a familiar and cherished presence to many, known for her dependable nature, her welcoming smile, and the care she brought to every task. Her work there reflected the strong work ethic and commitment to service that defined so much of her life.

Yolanda also devoted herself to education and childcare in meaningful ways. She worked as a substitute teacher and served as a co-owner of Ma Holley’s Daycare in Samson, Alabama, where she lovingly nurtured and inspired young children for years. Her influence on the lives of those children was lasting, and many will remember her as someone who offered patience, encouragement, and genuine affection.

In her spare time, Yolanda enjoyed crocheting and fishing. These simple pleasures brought her peace and happiness, and they reflected her appreciation for quiet moments and the beauty of everyday life.

She is survived by two daughters, Vonda Williamson (Dana Harnage), and Misty Grimes (Randy); grandchildren, Gage Sanders (Kate), Cole Williamson (Madison), and Dani Stewart (Jacob); great grandchildren, Grayson Stewart, Walker Stewart, and Maeve Holly Sanders; three sisters, Jennie Mock (Ronnie), Gail Chancey, and Kaye Chancey (Jack); several nieces and nephews; and her precious fur babies, Stella and Ginger, and her beloved grand-dog, Max

The family would like to thank Kasee Mock Herington, Jennifer Stevens, Jessica Stevens, and Robyn Carr for their excellent love and care.
