DOTHAN. . .Yvette Williams, a resident of Dothan, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 25, 2026, in UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She was 58.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 27, 2026, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with eulogies to be given by friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary in Headland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Dothan, AL 36302.
Yvette Williams was a lifelong resident of Dothan. She was an honor graduate of Dothan High School and attended Troy University-Dothan. Yvette was employed by Flowers Hospital as an Insurance Follow-Up Representative. She was an avid Alabama football fan. Yvette was preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Sketoe Wiliams, an aunt, Peggy Sketoe McDaniel, and an uncle, C. E. Sketoe.
Surviving relatives include her brother, Brent Williams, Dothan; special cousins, Kim McDaniel and Annette Lemacks.
