Zora Gayle McMullin, 85, of Laurel, MS, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Guardian Angels in Laurel, MS. Born on August 31, 1940, in Headland, Alabama, Gayle lived a life full of love and family.
In her final days, Gayle expressed a deep appreciation for the love and support provided by her family and friends throughout her lifetime. She spoke of so many cherished memories of those that she loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James A. McMullin, Jr.; her son, Jim Rosser; her father, Vander Ray Givens; her mother, Elma Louise Sanders Givens; and her brother, Donnie Givens.
Gayle is survived by her sons, Steve Rosser and his wife Dena, and Jim McMullin; her daughters, Beth Reynolds and her husband Herman, and Anice Bell and her husband David. She also leaves behind her brother, Jimmy Givens and his wife Patty, her sister, Ruth Elmore, and her cherished grandchildren, Cody Rosser and his wife Kristen, Carly Rosser, Graham Rosser, and Josh Morris. She is also survived by her best friend Cindy Crotts.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, with arrangements being handled by Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations.
