REHOBETH:     Mr. Bobby Clemmons was host to a fish fry held at Rehobeth Town Hall for the Rehobeth Senior Citizens and other friends. The fish fry was held this past Thursday.

The Rehobeth Town Hall and Senior Citizens Center was packed with people from all waks of life.

Bobby Clemmons, a native of Rehobeth, serves as councilman for the Town of Rehobeth. Bobby is known for his love to fish and has hosted many fish fries in Rehobeth and Columbia. Bobby Clemmons has also served as a bus driver for Houston County Schools for many years until a stroke forced him to retire.

Bobby has always been known for being able to pull people together. And he has some dedicated friends who help him with the cooking and serving of the fish.

Bobby also served Houston County as Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Agency. That was when Emergency Management actually served the community, was known in the community, and worked throughout the community. Bobby was also instrumental in helping with the beginning of the 911 system in Houston County. Bobby worked well with law enforcement, fire and EMS during his tenure with Dothan – Houston County Emergency Management Agency.

Bobby Clemmons, Rehobeth Mayor Kimberly Trotter and members of the Rehobeth Town Council also researched, assisted in laying out a plan with Todd Phillips and started a full time, employed, Rehobeth Fire – Rescue to serve the citizens of Rehobeth and Southwest Houston County. The first of it’s kind in Houston County.

While Bobby’s swift movement is limited due to the stroke, he still knows that is going on. He is always willing to help as much as possible.

Everyone enjoyed the day of fellowship, laughter and some great fish.

In addition, Alabama State Representative Paul Lee and Alabama State Senator Paul Lee donated $ 1,000 to the Rehobeth Senior Citizens Center.
