HOUSTON COUNTY: 05:50 AM Houston County 911 dispatched at 5:50 AM Lovetown Volunteer Fire Department, Cottonwood Volunteer Fire Department, Hodgesville Volunteer Fire Department and Cottonwood Rescue to a structure fir at 214 Billy Snell Road.
Billy Snell Road runs between Cottonwood Road and Fowler Road just past One Stop Foods on Cottonwood Road. Reports to Houston County 911 a camper was on fire and unknown if occupied.
Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded. On arrival the Deputies reported black smoke visible. Lovetown Volunteer Fireman Rev. Kevin Dixon requested Cottonwood Volunteer Fire respond their brush truck die to the small driveway entrance which made it difficult to enter premises on a large fire truck.
Within minutes of arrival water was on the fire and under control.
The volunteer men and women, on a Wednesday workday, at 5:50 AM, sprang into quick action and response in order to save lives and property, for free.
