Ray was born on May 22, 1953, in Dothan, Alabama to the late George W. and Lillian Revell. Those who knew him will remember a man who lived simply, loved deeply, and found joy in the everyday moments shared with the people around him.

Ray spent his life building lasting friendships and making memories with those fortunate enough to know him. He was a man who appreciated the outdoors and found great happiness in the activities he loved most. Hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle were among his favorite pastimes, and he embraced each of them with enthusiasm. Whether he was spending time in nature or traveling the open road, Ray found peace and enjoyment in the freedom those moments brought him.

He also cherished the time he spent with his friends. Ray had a gift for companionship and was happiest when he was in the company of others. One of his favorite ways to spend time was playing Dominoes and shooting pool with his friends, activities that brought laughter, conversation, and fellowship. He was always ready with words of wisdom and advice from his life experiences. He was always ready with a good joke to tell.

Ray worked at Georgia Pacific and Farley Nuclear Plant in his younger years and was a Dothan business man.

Ray will be remembered for his warm spirit, his easygoing nature, and the genuine care he showed to those around him.  His life was marked by the relationships he built and the memories he created, and those memories will continue to bring comfort to the many people who loved him.

He is survived by his cousin, Connie Coe, and her husband, Jesse Willcox, as well as many friends who held a special place in his life. Their love and friendship were an important part of his journey, and they will carry forward the memory of his kindness, humor, and companionship.

Though Ray has departed this life, the legacy of his friendship, his love of the outdoors, and his enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
