Dothan Fire is responding to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at southside Walmart.
Injuries are currently unknown. The victim is reportedly a 50-year-old male. The suspect vehicle is allegedly a pickup truck still on the scene of the incident.
BARBOUR COUNTY AL: 06:35 AM Early this morning recovery teams recovered the body of a man who drowned last evening.
At White Oak Creek State Park the body of Byron Haney of Athens, Alabama was recovered.
Preliminary reports are that last evening Haney went into the water to retrieve the boat that drifted off the bank. At that time Haney drowned.
White Oak Volunteer Fire Department, Baker Hill Rescue other agencies to include divers from Houston County Rescue, Barbour County Sheriff Deputies, and Barbour County Coroner Chip Chapman were on the scene very early this morning. The body was recovered.

Information that possibly Mr. Haney tripped when he went to get his boat and the water was deeper than he expected.
In the original article we listed Eufaula Fire Department on the scene. They WERE NOT on the scene. White Oak Volunteer Fire Department and Baker Hill Rescue along with Houston County Rescue Unit Dive Team were on the scene.
North Foster Street will be closed to all traffic at the intersection of Adams Street from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 14.

Tractor equipment was caught on low hanging wires at Sowell Road.
No injuries were reported.
The equipment was tangled into power lines. Power has been cut off until crews can clean up the lines.

Look for sunny, windy and not as warm weather to end the work week.
Surprise, surprise. A line of rains held together to long enough to sweep through south Alabama before dawn. But those rains have raced on to the southeast and clouds have cleared. Behind the front is some cooler weather.
So we now rejoined our regularly scheduled Spring.
Plenty of sunshine today will help temps top the 70 degree mark, but brisk winds will ramp up as Friday goes along. So look for a beautiful, but breezy and not as warm weather as we head into the weekend.
Warmer weather will settle in the next few days, although lows at night may fall into the 40s this weekend.
