Perfect Spring weather today and tomorrow. Rains will arrive late weekend.
Thursday look for plenty of sunshine and temperatures rising to 80 degrees, and tonight mostly mild temperatures as lows fall to near 60 degrees.
Friday the forecast is about the same. Maybe a few more clouds move in, and at times maybe mostly cloudy but the high should be around 82 degrees.
Saturday clouds pile up during the daytime, and by Saturday night chances of rain increase. Temps will be not as warm, but mostly mild Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday could be a stormy day and rains may linger into Monday.
Hunt’s Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar landed a coveted spot on AL.com’s latest restaurant recommendation list, highlighting the delicious raw oysters and cheese biscuits.

“I live on the opposite side of the state from the Wiregrass. It’s a haul for me to get there, but fortunately, I have a job that allows me to travel the state. And let me tell you: Anytime I’m near Dothan I gotta go to Hunt’s — and judging by the packed parking lot every time I go, I’m not the only one. It’s the type of place where you can load up your family and sit in the restaurant portion of the building or bring your buddies and sit at the oyster bar and have an equally great time. The cheese rolls are every bit as amazing as they sound, but I can’t go without getting some raw oysters. With Louisiana hot sauce at the bar and fresh oysters, Hunt’s is the real deal. — Haley Laurence”
The city of Dothan wants to hear your opinion — a public involvement meeting is coming up on the widening of Brannon Stand Road and Highway 605.
Leaders are considering adding more lanes, so the Alabama Department of Transportation is performing a road-widening study to determine how useful the work may be as the west side of Dothan grows.
The public meeting is at Westgate Recreation Center on April 16.
