5:40 A.M.: Vehicle fire on 84 in Daleville
The Daleville Department of Public Safety’s Fire Division responded to a report early this morning of a vehicle on fire.
Images show a truck fully engulfed in flames.
No injuries were reported.
Public meeting coming up on widening Brannon Stand, 605
The city of Dothan wants to hear your opinion — a public involvement meeting is coming up on the widening of Brannon Stand Road and Highway 605.
Leaders are considering adding more lanes, so the Alabama Department of Transportation is performing a road-widening study to determine how useful the work may be as the west side of Dothan grows.
The public meeting is at Westgate Recreation Center on April 16.
Roundabout installation begins today on 52 in Geneva County
State Road 52 will see a roundabout in Geneva County by next year.
ALDOT is beginning work west of Samson on SR-52 at SR-153 and CR-5.
Expect lane closures and reduced speed, and use caution.

UPDATED AT 10:05: 9:48 AM: Camper fire endangering residence in Geneva County on South Park Road; now under control
Slocomb Fire is battling a fully-involved camper fire endangering a residence at 2668 South Park Road in Slocomb, Geneva County.
Crews are putting water on the fire now.
Malvern Fire and Fadette Fire were also dispatched, but Rehobeth Fire was called for mutual aid. Rehobeth Fire’s call was canceled.
UPDATE: The fire is now under control.
