Gloria Glenn Creech Christian of Geneva, AL passed away on Monday, November 03, 2025, at her home. She was 65 years old.
Private Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
Gloria was born in Geneva, AL on May 31, 1960, to the late Glenn and Grace Pearl Spivey Creech. She retired after 25 years in education, where she taught at Troy Elementary School and later at Harrand Creek Elementary School in Enterprise. Her time after retiring was spent outdoors in her flower beds, planting and tending her beautiful flowers.
Gloria is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Ricky H. Christian of Geneva, AL; one daughter, Emily Sullivan (Chris) of Samson, AL; three grandchildren, Abbie, Gunter, and Ryder Sullivan, all of Samson, AL; and one sister, Thelia Childers of Opp, AL.
Crystal Nicole Andrews, passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2025, at the age of 47.
Born on September 9, 1978, in Vancouver, Washington, the daughter of the late Alice Ann Frazer Dederich, Crystal was a devoted mother, a cherished sister, a beloved aunt, and a friend to all creatures, great and small. A graduate of Northview High School in 1997, Crystal’s passion for helping others and her thirst for knowledge took her to Auburn University and ultimately led her to the Wallace School of Nursing, where she furthered her education and honed her skills. Crystal’s career as a travel nurse was marked by her selfless service, her loving care, and her generous spirit, touching the lives of countless individuals across the country.
Crystal’s life was a tapestry of love woven with the threads of her family and interests. She was a loving mother to her sons, Jeremiah and Benjamin Andrews, and her daughter, Meredith Andrews. Her children were the center of her universe, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, compassion, and humor. Crystal’s siblings, Correen Long (Kane) and Aaron Dederich, will remember her as the glue that held the family together, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. Her aunt, Betty Strawhorn (Jim), nieces Annabelle and Rena Long, and the father of her children, Clinton Andrews, will miss her warmth and unwavering support.
Crystal’s love extended beyond her human family to her fur babies, KitKat and Kaly, who were her constant companions and recipients of her boundless affection. Her love for animals was just one aspect of her nurturing nature.
An avid traveler, Crystal’s curiosity and desire to explore the world in nature and led her to experience various food cultures, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She had an insatiable appetite for life and sought to savor every moment. In her downtime, Crystal could be found laughing at funny videos or engrossed in the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy, her favorite television show.
A Celebration of Life service for Crystal will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2025 from the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
Ray Neil Howell of Enterprise, AL passed away, Monday, November 3, 2025, at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 88.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with, Greg Vick and Rev. William Pless officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Park Avenue Baptist Church, 300 East Park Avenue, Enterprise, AL.
Ray was born on October 27, 1937 in Holmes County, Florida to the late Seba T. Howell and Gladys Lee Howell. Ray was a retired lineman with Alabama Power and held the distinction of being the longest serving local lineman upon retirement providing 46 years of service. Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served not only his community but was also a dedicated servant of the Lord and faithful to his church throughout his life. He was a longtime member and deacon at Park Avenue Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his three brothers; Jimmy Howell, Joe Howell, and Jack Howell; two sisters Sara Hendrix and Virginia Boschert.
Survivors include his wife off 66 years, Paula Keller Howell of Enterprise, AL; two daughters, Teresa Waterworth (Ray) and Lynn Vick (Greg) both of Enterprise; one brother, Johnny Howell (Kathy), Hartford, AL; grandchildren, Ashley Quinn (Joe), Justin Daughery (Abby), Erica Keller (Garrett), Emily Vick, Addison Waterworth, Hannah Waterworth; great-grandchildren, Max Gardner, Mollie Gardner, Charlotte Daugherty, Preston Daughtery, Lee Keller, Clara Keller, JJ Quin, Ettie Quinn.
Barbara June Fowler, 78, of Union Springs, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at a hospital in Montgomery.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Macedonia Baptist Church of Bullock County Cemetery, located at 4211 County Road 15, Union Springs, Alabama.
Mrs. Fowler was born in Stills Crossroads, Alabama, to the late Raymond Woodrow Earles and Minnie Ree Watts Earles. She attended Bullock County High School and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Troy University, Montgomery Campus.
Throughout her career, she devoted herself to caring for others. She began her nursing career in the Neonatal Department at Baptist South Hospital, served as a Nursing Supervisor at HealthSouth, and later worked as a Home Health Nurse until her retirement.
Mrs. Fowler loved spending time with her family and enjoyed fishing alongside her beloved husband.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tim Earles.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bennie Fowler; daughter, Gina Pilkington; sons, Michael Duncan (Melanie Brace), Jeffrey Dykes (Kara), and Jeremy Dykes (Bridget); grandchildren, Blake Brooks (Rebecca), Megan Kerr (Jared), Haley Robbins (Trey), Jackson Dykes, Tara Kate Dykes (Trace Peterson), Alyssa Dykes (Kaleb Richard), and McKenna Dykes; and great-grandchildren, Anna Hall, Aiden Kerr, Adley Kerr, and Haven Brooks. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Earles (Martha); sister, Kathy Vinson (Timothy Cooper); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Fowler will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.
Oralee Kelley, of Dothan, AL passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at Southeast Health. Born on January 14, 1934, in Dothan, Alabama, Oralee’s life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and her dedication to her family, her business, and her community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Gertie Watford; beloved husband, Bernell Kelley; and son, Calvin Kelley. She is survived by her children, Diane Howard and Dennis Kelley; grandchildren, Jamie and BJ Ralph, BJ Rouse, Chuck and Shelia Kelley; great-grandchildren, Tanner Clayton, Ansley Rouse, Jackie and Ben Perry, and Gage Cowart; and great-great-grandchildren, Eli and Isla Cowart.
Oralee’s journey began in the heart of Alabama, where she grew up surrounded by the warmth and charm of Southern hospitality. Her early years in Dothan shaped her into a woman of strength and character, qualities that would define her for the rest of her life.
Her life was one of service and commitment, qualities that she carried into every aspect of her existence. As a business owner, Oralee poured her heart into Kelley’s Superette in Rehobeth, Alabama, a family-owned and operated establishment that became a cornerstone of the local community.
She loved everyone she met and her kindness knew no bounds. Her thoughtfulness was a comfort to those around her and her presence was a source of joy and stability. Oralee Kelley’s story is one of a well-lived life and she will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

MIDLAND CITY… Matthew “Matt” Scott Cole, a resident of Midland City, Alabama, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at his home. He was 35.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 7, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with Reverend Brad Price officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hinson Baptist Church Cemetery in Slocomb, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Cole was born in Dothan, Alabama to Herman Ladon Cole and Cindy Reinhart Hamilton. He lived most of his life in Midland City, Alabama. He was a 2008 graduate of Dale County High School. After high school he served his country in the US National Guard, where he served a tour in Syria and Kuwait, and was still active as a Sergeant in the guard. He served his community as a law enforcement officer with the Dothan Police Department as a K-9 officer with Sandor. He was currently an instructor at S.E.R.e. School, where he was an Evasion Instructor. He was a member of the Slocomb Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death was his infant brother, Kelly Cole; and his grandparents.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Christie Golden Cole; his daughter, Rosalie Kate Cole; his sons, Noah Grey Cole and Bristol Hayes Cole; his father, Don Cole (Jennifer); his mother, Cindy Hamilton (Tom Murray); his sister, Kailyn Creel (Bethanie); his brothers, Stevie Ladon Cole (Ava) and Joshua Cory Cole; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Stevie Cole, Joshua Cole, Bobby Jennings, Damon Owens, Thomas Price, Derrik Seagers, Blake Pendleton, and Bryan Touchton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his Guard Unit (A.Co. 1-173 IN REG Atmore, Alabama), Ft. Rucker S.E.R.e Team, and countless friends.
