Theresa Allison, a beacon of love and joy, left this world on June 25, 2025, at the age of 65, in Dothan, Alabama. Born on February 6, 1960, in Blakely, Georgia, to Charlene Stewart and the late D’Arsey Stewart Sr., Theresa’s life was a testament to her unwavering love for her family and the laughter she spread effortlessly.

The cherished wife of the late Phillip Allison, Therssa’s legacy is carried on through her loving children: sons Nick Westbrook (Brooke) and Steven Westbrook (Kaitlin), daughter Brittney Nolan, and stepdaughter Kareth Sims (Josh). Her joy was multiplied with the arrival of each grandchild: Laney Grace Westbrook, Hallie Westbrook, Scarlett Westbrook, Easton King, Wilkes Nolan, John Sims, Rena Sims, and Cameron Nolan, each of whom brought immense happiness into her life.

Theresa’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her family. She operated a home daycare, where she devoted herself to the care and education of children, guiding them with the same love and attention she gave her own. Her mother, Charlene Stewart, along with her siblings, D’Arsey Stewart Jr., Randy Stewart, and Wendy Smalley, will remember her as a sister who brightened every family gathering with her presence. She was preceded in death by her loving sister, Elaine Engram.

A woman of many talents, Theresa was known for her exceptional southern cooking, which was just one of the ways she expressed her love. Her recipes and meals will long be cherished by her family and friends. Theresa’s heart was most content when surrounded by her loved ones, and she was often described as the life of the party, bringing warmth and humor wherever she went.

Her commitment to her family was unwavering and she often enjoyed the simple family gatherings. Theresa’s love knew no bounds.

Theresa Allison’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of devotion, laughter, and love. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her, reminding them of the joy that can be found in the simple act of caring for one another. Her spirit, as loving as it was indomitable, will forever be etched in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched. Theresa Allison will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love will continue to shine brightly, guiding her loved ones through the years to come.

A celebration of Theresa’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Theresa will be laid to rest in White Chapel Memorial Garden Cemetery in Duluth, GA on Saturday, June 28th at 11am EST.

Donna Faye Love

Donna Faye Love, aged 63, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in Dothan, AL, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 20, 1962, in Geneva, AL, Donna was a beacon of kindness and warmth throughout her life.

Donna’s life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and her community. She shared 42 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Roger Love, and together they raised two sons, Damon Love (Courtney) and Ryan Love, who were her pride and joy. Donna was the cherished daughter of Faye Bradley and the late Donald Bradley, and she held a special bond with her mother and her mother in law who precedes her in death, Onita Watkins, which was a testament to their family’s closeness.

Her life was enriched by the arrival of her adored grandchildren, Jazlyn Hyatt, Grant Love, Anzley McInnis, Ryles Love, Kruize Love, Izabelle Love, and Kate Brogden, who lovingly knew her as “Nonnie.” She also maintained a lasting friendship with her ex-daughter-in-law and friend, Casey Tillery. The tendrils of her love reached beyond the confines of her family to her lifelong friends, Tammy Watkins and Cindy Jordan, with whom she shared countless cherished memories.

For many years, Donna was a familiar and caring presence in the lives of the children she transported as a school bus driver for Ashford schools. She approached her work with a sense of dedication and joy, knowing that every day was an opportunity to make a positive impact on the young lives she encountered.

Donna was a woman who loved fiercely, especially when it came to her family. Her feisty spirit was matched only by her capacity for kindness, and she touched many lives with her generosity and compassion. Donna was the embodiment of the phrase “always showed up,” whether for a significant milestone or a simple family gathering. Her love for the beach was a testament to her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures and her ability to find joy in the moment.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Donna will remember her as a loving and kind soul. She was a woman who lived her values and whose actions spoke of her profound love for those around her. Donna’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless lives she touched. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Watkins Barn, 1220 Main Street, Ashford, AL 36312 from 3pm until 5pm where family and friends will share their favorite memories of Donna.

Carl William Colmar passed away June 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife Martha and his best friend Wrigley. We will love you forever.

Carl’s favorite past times were working in his rose gardens and drinking a bottle of red wine at night. Thanks to my loving family for taking this journey with me.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Wilford Colmar and Mary Huck Colmar. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Martha Colmar; daughters, Sue Colmar Andrews (Greg) of Atlanta, GA and Cyndee Colmar of Meza, AZ; and brother, David Colmar (Cathy) of Paso Robles, CA.

Lucille Reeves Pierce of Samson, AL passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was 78 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL. Burial will follow in Travelers Rest Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Lucille was born in Holmes County, FL on December 13, 1946, to the late Phoenix and Viola Stafford Reeves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Brent Cook; one sister, Lillian Johnson; one brother, Jack Reeves.

Lucille is survived by two daughters, Karen Gautney and Kimberly Pierce; four grandchildren, Amanda Spivey, Hobie Gautney, Whitney Doty, and Kaitlyn Pierce; four great-grandchildren, Sophie Gautney, Kendall Spivey, Hayes Spivey, and Khlaiah Clay; one sister, Foy Harrison and several nieces and nephews.
