Shannon Leigh Fuller Napper

Shannon Leigh Fuller Napper, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025. She was 42 years old.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Shannon was born July 30, 1982, in Albany, Georgia, to Noal Solen, Jr. and Jenny Renne Sanders Brown. She was a 2001 graduate of Eufaula High School and worked for Napa Auto Parts in Eufaula. Shannon enjoyed listening to music and watching movies, but most of all she loved her family, especially her daughter.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jenny Renee Sanders Brown.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Benjamin Matthew Napper; daughter, Aja Renee Fuller; father, Noal Solen Brown, Jr.; sister, Memorie Souza.

Joyce Taylor Wallace, age 91, of Dothan, Alabama peacefully passed away on March 19, 2025 in a Dothan hospital.

A private ceremony for the family will be held to celebrate her life.

Mrs. Wallace was born on May 18, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas. She moved to Greenville, Alabama in the third grade where she met her husband of 70 years, John Lovick Wallace. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church Dothan. She was a devoted wife and a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In the words of her husband “She has always put he Lord in charge of her life and especially her marriage”. Her family and friends that trust and know she is with our Father in Heaven.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Robert Taylor; and daughter, Hope Wallace Haydon.

Those left behind missing her hugs are her husband, John Lovick Wallace; brother, Ron Taylor; daughter, Joy Taylor (Ray); nephew, Josh Taylor; grandson, Ben Martin; granddaughters, Ashleigh Watson (Alex), Allie Traylor (Harrison), and Anna Haydon; and great grandson John Hudson Watson.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Westside Terrace from the bottom of their hearts for the exceptional love and care they gave to Mrs. Wallace.

KNOXVILLE TN:     On Monday evening Mrs. Jean Williams passed from this life into the Gates of Heaven. She resided in Knoxville, Tennessee near one of her daughters.

Mrs. Jean Williams came to Dothan from Mobile Alabama in 1974 when her husband, Kater Williams, was named Police Chief of Dothan Alabama.

While her husband was leading Dothan Police Department as Police Chief, Mrs. Williams was a mother raising their children and was a realtor in Dothan. On retirement of Chief Williams they lived a brief time in Montgomery where Chief Williams worked with the State of Alabama. They then lived at Panama City Beach Florida before retiring back to Dothan.

When Chief Williams passed away Mrs. Williams moved to Knoxville Tennessee near one of her daughters. She was age 91 at the time of her death.

The daughters of Jean and Kater Williams will be submitting an obituary in the immediate future. At a point in the future a memorial service will be announced.

Mr. Bobby Gene Worley Sr., age 72, a resident of Cottonwood passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Littlefield and Mr. Gene Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Kinsey with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Bobby was born on January 5, 1953 to Earnest Lee Worley and Rosie Lee Smith Worley. He was a native of Cottonwood. He worked as an electrician with Scarborough and Associates for thirty-five years. Mr. Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Gene Worley, Jr. “Bubba”; two brothers, James Worley and Joe Worley; two sisters, Annette Burkett and Mamie Holder.

Survivors include his special friend, Beverly Kyzer; daughter, Tiffany Kyzer; brother, Arther Worley (Lounett), all of Cottonwood; sister, Mary Evelyn Drewel of Kyser, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Worley, Josh Henderson, Michael Holder, Jordan Ramey, Jared Etress,  and Bobby Dickerson.

Benjamin “Ben” H. Brown, II, age 45, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at Flowers Hospital from heart failure.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on March 29, 2025 at Harvest Church in Dothan, Alabama.

Flowers will be accepted.

Ben was born on October 2, 1979 to William “Bill” Henry Brown and Cathy Sue Thomley. He was a native of Dothan and a member of Harvest Church where his many friends greeted him every Sunday and Wednesday. One of his friends described Ben as a butterfly because he was moving from friend to friend with a wide smile and encouraging word to everyone.

Survivors include his father, Bill Brown; mother, Cathy Thomley Brown; two sisters, Melanie Walsh and Cheri Harvey (Chris) all of Dothan; niece, Ashton Terry (Collin); nephew, Matthew Walsh (Annabelle); great niece, Amelia Terry; many great uncles and aunts, and cousins who he loved dearly.
