Faith Smith Robinson passed away suddenly on October 18th, 2025 after several

years of heart and diabetes complications. She was born on June 8th, 1969, in Kingwood,

West Virginia. Daughter of Mariwyn McClain Smith (1937-2018) and George A. Smith Jr.

(1937-2015) of Parsons, WV. She is survived by her only child Katelynn Robinson,

granddaughter Lillian Nguyen, former spouse Ken Robinson, her brother Ken and Bonnie

Smith and sister Barbara and Carl Plumley, and her many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts,

and uncles.

A 1987 graduate of Tucker County High School. She then went on to study at

Shepherd’s (College) University. She met Ken Robinson and later married in 1995 and then

became a mother to Katelynn Robinson. As a military family, they moved around for several

years before retiring in 2008 in Enterprise, AL.

Faith, or Mimi as she was affectionately known by, made it her life mission to take

care of foster animals. She volunteered for Tails and Whiskers in Enterprise, AL and has

been dedicated to helping cats in need for several years. She continuously volunteered

everywhere she could as a military spouse, and has built a village of close friends from all

over the United States. Faith’s reach was as far as it was wide, and she was deeply

cherished by many.

Faith loved reading, scrapbooking, reality TV, sarcastic comments, the words “free

food,” chocolate turtles, cats, lazy days, movies, her grandchild, Gain detergent, Kid Rock,

gnomes, Snoopy, vanilla scents, a good gossip session, and being surrounded by her

people.

She hated when people backed into her driveway and a Bath and Body Works.

She had an incredible sense of humor and a laugh you could hear from a mile away.

She loved her entire family, despite their quirks and silliness. She would drive hours away to

be by family in times of need, despite her health conditions. She worried for them, rooted

for them, protected them, forgave them, and kept on giving them “lovin’s.”

When Faith’s granddaughter came into the picture in 2018, her entire life became

dedicated to Lillian. She loved her fiercely and helped Katelynn in any way possible in

raising her. There was not a day she didn’t brag about her. Lillian was her life source, her

best friend, and partner in crime. She attended every event in Lilly’s life.

Faith’s loss is deeply felt by her immense family and all those who knew and loved

her. She was one of a kind and too young. At her request, there will be no funeral service by

her immediate family. Donations in her memory may be made to Tails and Whiskers of

Enterprise, AL by going to https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/TWI
