
Georgia F. Warren, 90, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on July 4, 2026, in Dothan, Alabama.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Ernie Gray officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, one hour prior to the service. Following the graveside service, there will be a Celebration of Life in Mrs. Warren honor at the Cloverdale Methodist Church.
Born on November 20, 1935, in Dothan, Georgia F. Warren lived a life marked by love, faith, and kindness. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend whose gentle spirit touched the lives of many. Those who knew her will remember her as a loving, faith-filled, and kind woman who carried herself with grace and warmth throughout her life.
Georgia was a loving mother, mawmaw, and special aunt who took great pride in her family. Her love for her family was evident in all that she did, and she found joy in caring for those around her.
She especially loved to take care of people, and that caring nature was one of the defining parts of her life. Georgia had a gift for making others feel nurtured, whether through a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or a delicious meal prepared with love. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and she became especially well known for her pear tarts. She also made cookies for any event she knew about, always wanting to share something sweet with others. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, and the food she prepared carried the same warmth and love that she shared so naturally with everyone around her.
Georgia’s strong faith was evident in her life and in the way she treated others. She lived with a quiet strength and a deep trust in God that guided her through life’s joys and challenges. Her faith was not only something she believed, but something she lived each day through her actions, her compassion, and her steadfast love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, humility, and grace that will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob Warren, three sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri McKeel; granddaughter, Chere’ McKnight; grandson, Chris McKeel; great-granddaughters, Lake McKnight and Lottie McKnight; niece, Pennye Warren Lovett; sister-in-law, Melanie Capps; nephew, Shayne Warren; and brother-in-law, Bill Warren and Laura, and great-niece, Weslynn Lovett. Each of them carries forward a piece of her legacy, and each will remember her with love and gratitude for the many ways she enriched their lives.
Georgia F. Warren will be remembered for her loving heart, her unwavering faith, and her kind spirit. Her life was a beautiful reflection of devotion to family and service to others. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished her.
