MIDLAND CITY. . .Hilton Lee Riley, a resident of Midland City, passed away late Tuesday night, October 21, 2025, at his home. He was 86.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, Friday, October 24, 2025 at Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations.

Mr. Riley was born and raised in Graceville, Florida. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps in 1956. Mr. Riley lived in Dothan before moving to Midland City in 1974. He was a member of Magnolia Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Riley was retired from WestPoint Stevens in Fairfax, Alabama as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Levey Riley, his mother, Estell Merritt Land, step-father, Walter Horace Land and a brother, Billy Joe Riley.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Teresa McLendon Riley; three sons, Bobby Riley (April), Hazlehurst, GA; Steven Riley (Melissa), Cottondale, FL; and Darrell Riley (Amanda), Chipley, FL; a brother, James Edward Riley, Slocomb, AL; grandchildren, Leslie Gillis (Mark), Josh Riley (Libby), Caleb Riley (Morgan), Elijah Riley, and Michael Capshaw (Kathy); nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; a sister-in-law, Carla McLendon Sizemore (Tommy); and a brother-in-law, Steve McLendon (Marolyn); nieces, Amanda Wright and Brooke Sizemore and a nephew, Marc McLendon (Sarah).
