ARITON…Debbie A. Randall, a resident of Ariton, died Sunday morning, July 12, 2026, at her home. She was 69.
In keeping with the wishes of Debbie, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Debbie, daughter of the late Auman Duane Ward, Sr. and Emily Louise Desilets Love, was a native of Massachusetts and carried the values of hard work, kindness, and determination with her throughout her life. She attended Lowell High School, where she made many memories and lifelong friendships before eventually making her home in Ozark.
Debbie had a caring heart and found joy in serving others. For eight years, she worked in the cafeteria at D.A. Smith School with Ozark City Schools, where she was known for her friendly smile, warm personality, and the kindness she showed to students and coworkers alike. She took pride in her work and enjoyed being a part of the school community. She was also formerly employed with Pizza Hut.
A woman of strong faith, she loved her church family. Debbie was a devoted member of Ozark First Assembly of God Church. Her faith was an important part of her life and provided her with strength, comfort, and guidance through the years.
Debbie enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and knew how to make the most of every day. She loved relaxing in front of the television, especially when one of her favorite actors, Tom Selleck, was on the screen. She never missed an opportunity to watch shows like Blue Bloods, which quickly became one of her favorites.
Creative and talented, Debbie turned her passion for making jewelry into her own small business, Designs by Debbie. She took great pride in creating beautiful handmade jewelry and loved sharing her creations with family, friends, and customers. She also enjoyed working on Diamond Art projects, finding joy and relaxation in bringing colorful designs to life, one piece at a time. Debbie also enjoyed playing bingo along with her crafting.
When she wasn’t crafting, Debbie loved spending time outdoors. Some of her happiest moments were spent fishing, enjoying the fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and the quiet beauty of nature. Whether she was casting a line into the water, camping, working on a new jewelry design, or spending time with those she loved, Debbie appreciated life’s simple blessings.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, creative spirit, unwavering faith, and the love she shared so freely with her family and friends. Her memory will continue to live on in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Ward Levy and her adopted father, James Lusk “Bud” Love.
Surviving relatives include her son, Patrick Randall (Daphane), Ozark; four brothers, Auman Duane Ward, Jr. James Lawrence “Buddy” Love, Daniel Richard “Danny” Ward, and Timothy Ward; her grandson, who was her favorite, Mason Randall; niece, Kristina Maria Dunham; nephews, James Louise Love “Little Buddy”, Scott Martin Ward, Shaun Richard Ward, Daniel Richard Ward, Jr., Tyler James Ward, Mykel Dwayne Ward, and Kyle Robert Ward.
