HEADLAND. . .Ruth Kilgore Granberry, a resident of Headland, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at her home. She was 75.

Ruth Granberry was born in Dothan and raised in the Enon Church community, between Webb and Ashford. She was the daughter of the late James Ethell Kilgore and Callie Mae Ingram Kilgore. She lived in Dothan before moving to Headland in 1997. While a resident of Dothan, Ruth was active in several clubs and organizations. She formerly owned and operated Cinema Slide Network of Headland. Ruth was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Farris English.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Kristi Granberry English, Headland; a brother, Jimmy Kilgore, Webb, AL; a grandson, Robert Granberry English; a niece, Tabitha Kilgore, a nephew, Christopher Kilgore (Michelle); a great-niece, Alexis Gurley, and a great-nephew, Austin Gurley.
