COFFEE COUNTY: 07:51 AM Coffee County Sheriff Scott Byrd, members of Coffee County Sheriff Department, ALEA – Troopers and ALEA – SBI, Coffee County Coroner Scott Byrd are on the scene of a murder in the area of Kinston.
The supect fled the scene on foot. Agencies are searching for suspect. Geneva County Sheriff Department has deputies near Geneva-Coffee County line and same with Covintgon County Sheriff Department.
The details of the murder are not know at this time as authorites are busy with the scene and search. The scene if on County Road 483 in Cofffee County.

RSN has not contacted Sheriff Byrd. They have a lot going on and RSN has opted not to contact at this time because RSN knows he is managing several operations of the scene amd manhunt.
Based on the best information RSN has at this time, a son is the suspect in the murder of a dad. The suspect, a whie male, fled on foot towards Geneva County. An active manhunt is underway.

VIA TEXT RICKEY, 334-70-1729, the suspect is now in custody. The suspect is identified as white make, Joseph Jackson.
A multi agency manhint, Coffee County Sheriff Scott Byrd andmembers of COffee County Sheriff Department, ALEA-Troopers, ALEA-SBI, WASP-Wiregrass Aviation Support Program, Geneva County Sheriff Department kept the Geneva – Coffee County lines hot and Covington County Sheriff keeping Coffee-Covington County lines hot, Dale County Sheriff Mason Bynum and members of Dale County Sheriff Department and Covington County Sheriff Blake Turman was on the scene.
The specific details of murder are not known at this time.

HARTFORD-SLOCOMB-WICKSBURG: This morning Hartford Fire-Rescue, Slocomb Fire-Rescue and Wicksburg Fire-Rescue responded to the traffic accident that claimed a life.
All three departments worked as one, in unison with each other. There were no “I” and only “we” to serve those involved.
