07:12 AM Rick Rheem Gets $ 250,000 Donation For Sheriff Training Center

HENRY COUNTY:    07:12 AM      Incumbent Alabama State Representative Rick Rehm and Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship held a press conference on Monday at the new Henry County Sheriff Training Center.

When Camp Sayla closed Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship received approval from the Henry County Commission for the Sheriff Department to use Camp Sayla for a new Training Center.

In recent training events Representative Rick Rehm has attended training events held at the Training Center. Representative Rick Rehm participated in some of the training event and even used a ramming device busting in a door.

Representative Rehm, realizing the need for a in county training center worked with the local legislative delegation and obtained $ 250,000.00 to help fix up the training center.

Members of the Henry County Commission and most of the deputies were in attendance for the presentation.

NOTE:     WTVY was present for the event and intentionally left off Representative Rick Rehm’s name from the article. That is apparently because one of their largest advertisers is supporting Rick Rehm’s opponent. But the event was held as an “official check presentation”. So Ken Curtis, as News Director of WTVY, apparently is not accurately covering the news. The RSN video is UNEDITED.
