Mr. Bobby Ralph Hamilton of Dothan passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the age of 93.
Born and raised in Thomaston, Georgia, he joined the United States Navy after graduating from high school where he proudly served for two years. He was a true patriot with a deep love for his country. He proudly wore his Navy hat wherever he went and was a devoted Fox News viewer.
He raised his family in Ocala, Florida, where he wore many different hats throughout his career in the mobile home industry. He later retired from the State of Florida, where he served as an inspector.
Family meant everything to him, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time with his loved ones, whether gathered at home, enjoying a trip to the casino, or making memories together on a cruise. He had a passion for football and was an avid Florida State Seminoles fan. He also loved fishing and enjoyed captaining his own boat out of Keaton Beach. His favorite place, without a doubt, was the casino-any casino! It was only fitting that he wanted both his 90th and 91st birthday celebrations held there, surrounded by the family and friends he loved so dearly. He had a big personality, a love for life, and a presence that made him unforgettable. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Until we meet again, we love you.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Jemima W. Hamilton, and son, Gregory (Greg) K. Hamilton.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Hamilton of Dothan, AL; daughters, Stephanie Cadenhead (John) of Zebulon, GA; Karen Distel (Richard) of Griffin, GA; Cindy Martin of Zebulon, GA; Denise Griner (Danny) of Perry, FL; Debbie Brown of Peachtree City, GA; son, Keith Parker (Karen) of Eufaula, AL; grandchildren, Christine Buffington, Melissa Garner, Tiffany Hammons, Heather Riggins, GA; Karla Fulton, MS; Jesse Hamilton, NC; Heath Parker, KY; Jesse Parker, FL; Caleb Griner, FL; Kacie Collini, and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Hamilton will be announced at a later date.
