THANKFUL to United President Donald Trump for his working to terminate the employment of a lot of government bureaucrats who sit behind a desk and have no idea of reality. The wage and hour has investigated Dothan Fire and other fire departments. Fireman will arrive early, because some just naturally arrive early, and will place their gear on the fire engine and tell the one on duty they can get ready to leave. So like this fire call that came in at 06:23 AM and shift change at 7:00 AM, the fireman coming on would have responded. And was not officially on the clock. It is just something that has been done for centuries on. While not required to report and change early, just something some fireman have always done. The government bureaucrats who sit behind a desk and do not know the real world states they can not do this. And it is done voluntarily and not required. So Rickey Stokes supports United States President Donald Trump in his terminating these bureaucrats employment. We need a Trump-minded person in Alabama to fire over half of the bureaucrats also.
Sorry, had to add that because Dothan Fire Chief has been fighting this idiotic mentality of bureaucratic government thinking.
THANK YOU to all Dothan Fireman, Dothan Police, Dothan Utilities and Dothan 911 for your work and prompt response.

Just before 4:00 pm on February 18, 2025, Dothan Police Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 700 block of Tuskegee Avenue. After getting a description of the suspect from several witnesses to the event, Patrol Officers saw a male matching the description running from the area. Officers gave chase and apprehended and identified the suspect as Tyshawn Ford. Officers confirmed with several witnesses as well as a video that circulated on social media that Ford was the suspect in the shooting. During the shooting, an occupied apartment was struck by gunfire.
Ford was on bond for Capital Murder from a previous incident which was investigated by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office. Ford was charged for Tuesday’s event with Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Building, Attempted Assault 1st degree, Domestic Violence 3rd Degree, and Fleeing and Attempting to Elude a Law Enforcement Officer. Ford is being held without bond in the Houston County Jail and a revocation on his bond for the Murder charge is expected. More arrests are anticipated as the investigation into the shooting incident on Tuskegee Ave. continues.
The Dothan Police Department will strongly advocate for swift accountability for these actions according to the law. Bonds and bond amounts are a matter of law left to the courts to decide, not the arresting agencies. Our Judges work within a framework that is consistent with the Constitution of Alabama to set bonds for those accused and remove bonds for those who pose an immediate threat to the community. Thank you to our social media investigative team and our members of the community who reject this type of behavior and aided in this investigation.
DALE COUNTY AND WIREGRASS: There has been graphic videos circulating on FACEBOOK of a young man who is alleged to have shot and abused some animals, to include dogs and cats.
RSN has had multiple inquiries concerning this video. RSN has made the decision not to post this video because of the gruesome nature of it. There have been multiple comments that something needs to be done to the person alleged to have committed this awful acts towards the animals.
Dale County Sheriff Mason Bynum issued a statement concerning this video on Monday. Then more videos surfaced this morning.
Let me assure you with one million percent assurance, Dale County Sheriff Mason Bynum and 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney Kirke Adams are on top of this video. Some reported incidents have occurred in different jurisdictions. And when the criminal investigators get all of the “facts” together, the appropriate legal action will be taken in the “appropriate” jurisdiction where the alleged incidents took place. But it takes some time making sure each stone is turned over and the “facts” are documented and put together.
But all jurisdictions that something of this nature might have taken place, will take swift action. But law enforcement has to deal in “facts” and FACEBOOK posts are not “facts.” So those who are outraged and think nothing is being done, I can tell you, again with one million percent assurance, the investigation is underway.
Also, the Alabama Legislature passed legislation several years ago that some information can not be released on people arrested at a certain age. A member of the Alabama Legislature’s child was arrested and name published. And, if not mistaken, they were found not guilty, but the articles were still in the internet airwaves. So that legislator was able to pass legislation preventing some information from being published. Not sure this case will fit that law, but there might be some information law enforcement are prohibited by law from releasing.
But I can tell you, law enforcement has taken this serious and there is an active investigation underway and in several jurisdictions.
