UPDATED @ 8:34 PM 8:19 PM Shots Fired Larkin Park – Ashford

ASHFORD:    Shortly before 8:00 PM Ashford Police came over the radio declaring emergency radio traffic at Frank Larkin Park in Ashford. Reports that shots were fired in the back of the park.

RSN does not know what event was going on at the park. Ashford Police reported people were running from the park making a fast exit.

Multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Kinsey Police, rolled to assist Ashford Police. Ashford Police Chief Melvin Anderson was on the scene. Chief Anderson instructed Ashford to direct traffic to get the park cleared quickly.

Houston County Sheriff Deputies moved to the Marathon after clearing the park. Crowds were congregating at the Marathon and deputies responded to clear the congregation and maintain peace. Law Enforcement then moved to the Inland checking to make sure all ok.

No one is reported to be injured.

Ashford Police Chief Melvin Anderson has called for “as many wreckers as you can get down here” on 7th Avenue in Ashford. People are parked on the wrong side of the road and Chief Anderson about to have them towed. Chief Anderson has requested 8 wreckers.

DOTHAN:    03:06 AM   Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Rehobeth Fire – Rescue, Hodgesville Volunteer Fire, and ALEA – Troopers to a motor vehicle accidnet, 1118 East Saunders Road, Coggins Trailer Park.

Initial reports a single vehicle accident, vehicle verses utility pole.

The vehicle was reported to be on top of a transformer.

On arrival reports are no patients found around the vehicle and power had been cut to the transformer. There was reported to be a power outage.

EMS and Fire returned to service. Power provider has been contacted.

DOTHAN:     01:54 AM     Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance to a Edged Weapon Assault, 4970 Montgomery Highway.

The victim and suspect became disorderly in parking lot. The victim was a white female and suspect a blakc female. The white female left the scene traveling towards Dale County. A BOLO ( Be On Look out ) was issed to Dale County.

Dale County Sheriff Department stopped the vehicle near Newton. The white female was transported to Flowers Hospital. Dothan Criminal Investigation Division was notified.

Dothan Police Patrol and Dothan Police Criminal Investigation Division investigating and attempting to put all pieces of chaos into reality to determine exactly what took place.

Major Lee Miller, 27, of Samson, died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning, May 30, 2026, on Geneva County Road 40.

According to preliminary information, the motorcycle left the roadway while negotiating a curve.

Responding agencies included Samson Police Department, Samson EMS, Geneva County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), and the Geneva County Coroner’s Office.

ALEA is leading the investigation into the accident.

No further information is available at this time.

10:10 AM Federal Judge – Appointed For Life – Has Sex In Office

A federal judge, who is appointed for life, caught having sex in court chambers with a senior police officer. Judge REPRIMANDED!!!

The Judicial Council of the 11th Judicial Circuit, which includes Alabama, Florida and Georgia, said in a February order that the judge would receive a private reprimand.

The Committee on Judicial Conduct and Disability of the Judicial Conference of the United States last week affirmed that order.
