ABBEVILLE… Julia Clyde Ethridge Hall, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at a Dothan hospital. She was 98.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Adoniram Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Otis Derrah officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Hall was born in Henry County, Alabama, to the late Thomas Lawrence Ethridge and Cora Herring Ethridge. She lived in the Abbeville, Alabama area all of her life. She worked for the Ezzell’s Department Store for over thirty-five years. She was one who was headstrong and loved cutting her grass and growing her garden, which included her beautiful flowers. She was also a hummingbird lover. Most of all she loved her family and the Lord.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Reuben I. Hall; and her siblings, Johnnie M. Scott, Jewel Farmer, Mack Ethridge, Robert Ethridge, Stough Ethridge, Holt Ethridge, Quinn Ethridge, and Lloyd Ethridge.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Karen Hall; her brother, Tom Ethridge; her grandchildren, Kimberly Blount, Kara Wiggins, and Kyle Blount (Jessica); and her great-grandchildren, Jase Wiggins, Sydney Blount, Ryleigh Blount, and Cooper Blount.
OZARK. . .Natasha Wood, a resident of Ozark, passed away Sunday morning, March 1, 2026. She was 63.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 85 Pleasant Hill Road, Eufaula, AL 36027, with Reverend Luke Westbrook and Reverend Jimmy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M. Tuesday in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Natasha Wood was born and raised in Eufaula, daughter of the late James Robert Wood and Olivia Ann Williams Wood. She formerly lived between Abbeville and Eufaula before moving to Ozark in 2011. Natasha was employed as a Home Health Aide for most of her adult lifetime. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and served as choir director at Bethlehem Baptist Church, between Louisville and Clayton. Natasha was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Comer Wood and a niece, Courtney Wood.
Surviving relatives include a sister, Natalie Wood Newman (J.D.), Shorterville; a brother, Timothy Wood (Michelle), Ozark; nieces, Amanda Starling (Samuel), Taylor Flowers (John), Madison Wood and Alissa Newman; nephews, Rusty Snowden and Will Herndon; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special family friend, Axell Mendoza.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Preston Dunn, Tyler Dunn, Cyrus Dunn and Heath Dunn.

Stephen Lamar Coe, 73, passed away February 27, 2026. He was born May 1, 1952, in Dothan, Alabama, where he grew up.
He graduated from Dothan High School in 1970 and later attended Wallace Community College and Troy State University. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served six years during the Vietnam War as an aircraft mechanic. After his military service, he served the State of Alabama as a Conservation Enforcement Officer until his retirement. Following retirement, a severe injury left him nearly quadriplegic and bedridden for the final seven years of his life. He bore this season without complaint and often said that the hardship strengthened his faith in ways nothing else could.
Even with his physical limitations, he used his voice to share his love for God with others. He was a member of First Baptist Church Dothan. His great earthly loves were hunting, fishing, and Auburn football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar Morris Coe and Martha Watford Coe, and by his daughter, Stephanie.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Triplett and her husband, Jeremy; his brother, Mike Coe, and sister-in-law, Sue Marie Coe; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew and their children; as well as numerous cousins.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff and dedicated caregivers at the Command Sergeant Major Bennie G. Adkins State Veterans Home in Enterprise, Alabama, and the Bill Nichols State Veterans Home in Alexander City, Alabama, for their compassionate care and faithful service.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
Angel Luis Figueroa Perez, 41, a resident of Dothan, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Glover Funeral Home with Pastor Ezequiel Castillo officiating. Burial will follow at Ashford City Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home of Dothan directing. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Flowers will be accepted.
Angel was born November 15, 1984, in Puerto Rico to William Figueroa & Sonya Perez. He spent the early years of his life there before moving to the United States. Angel worked as a custodian with Dothan City Schools, a job which brought him joy and many friendships. He attended Pentecostal Light and Truth in Dothan.
He is survived by his wife, Yanina Rivera Cruz of Dothan; his parents, William Figueroa & Sonya Perez of Puerto Rico; his twin brother, Luis Figueroa Perez of Puerto Rico; his two sisters, Odalys Figueroa Perez, and Jasmine Figueroa Perez both of Puerto Rico; his stepson, Yancel Hernandez Rivera of Dothan; his stepdaughter, Eneidy Auguste Rivera of Dothan; and several nieces and nephews.

Ángel nació el 15 de noviembre de 1984 en Puerto Rico, hijo de William Figueroa y Sonya Pérez. Pasó sus primeros años allí antes de mudarse a Estados Unidos. Ángel trabajó como conserje en las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Dothan, un trabajo que le brindó alegría y le brindó muchas amistades. Asistió a la Iglesia Pentecostal Luz y Verdad en Dothan.
Le sobreviven su esposa, Yanina Rivera Cruz, residente de Dothan; sus padres, William Figueroa y Sonya Pérez, residentes de Puerto Rico; su hermano gemelo, Luis Figueroa Pérez, residente de Puerto Rico; sus dos hermanas, Odalys Figueroa Pérez y Jasmine Figueroa Pérez, ambas de Puerto Rico; su hijastro, Yancel Hernández Rivera, residente de Dothan; su hijastra, Eneidy Auguste Rivera, residente de Dothan; y varios sobrinos y sobrinas.
