OZARK: 5:14 PM Ozark Police activated his/her blue lights. The vehicle they were behind activated their gas pedal. And the CHASE was on!!!!
The chase began on Andrews Avenue and turned on Westview. The vehicle was a white Crown Vic, The chase continued ton Magnolia and then turned right on Camilla.
The chase continued through WalMart parking lot, going through the parking lot and striking a vehicle in the parking lot of WalMart. The suspect bailed from the vehicle and began running on foot with Ozark Police chasing him. The suspect fled behind the garden center.
A Ozark Police Officer apprehended the suspect at Church Street at Camilla Drive and Dixie Drive.
Ozark Police and Dale County Sheriff Department assisted.

At 12:15 pm Houston County Dispatched Rehobeth Fire and Rescue as well as Houston County Sheriffs to the 7500 block of 231 South just below Olympia Spa for a Motor Vehicle Collision involving a Tractor and a Pickup Truck.Both vehicles were traveling south bound when the Pickup Truck rear ended the tractor at full speed and rolling over several times and flipping into the air. The Tractor Operator is shaken up but unharmed the driver of the Pickup Truck was transported to the hospital emergency but was reported alert and conscious with no life threatening injuries.U.S. 231 South Bound is completely blocked at this time crews are working to open at least one lane as soon as possible. Expect delays and please use extreme caution in this area.
At 4:28 pm Dothan Communications recieved radio traffic from a Dothan Ambulance responding to an unrelated call that a rear end collision had just occured at the intersection of Ross Clark Circle and West Main Street. The EMS unit also advised no entrapment, major damage to one of the vehicles , and there is lane blockage. Upon arrival of Dothan Fire and Police the initial reports were confirmed. There is some traffic backup from the wrecked vehicle in the intersection so USE CAUTION IN THIS AREA until the wreckage can be removed and the scene cleared.
