At 3:32 Houston County 911 Dispatched Madrid Fire, Rehobeth Fire And Rescue, And Houston County Sheriff’s Deputies to a 2 vehicle collision with critical injuries, both vehicles in the ditch and air bag deployment on both vehicles. The first unit to arrive on scene confirmed 2 vehicles in ditch with air bag deployment, heavy damage to both vehicles, one occupant possible broken leg.There is not any life threatening injuries and one patient was transported to hospital with possible broken leg. There is lane blockage at this time. According to witnesses there was a third vehicle involved that sideswiped one of the cars causing it to go off road thru the median and then struck by another vehicle heading southbound.The wreck is being investigated by ALEA Trooper Sanders. Please use extreme caution until this accident is cleared and watch out for emergency responders.
At 2:07 pm Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire, Police, and EMS to the 2700 block of West Main Street for a small suv has ran into the digital sign with Minor injuries. Command advised minor damage to the vehicle and the sign with one patient being transported to the hospital with minor injuries there is one lane blockage from the incident which has been cleared at this time.

At 9:15 am Houston County 911 Dispatched Rehobeth Fire and Rescue, Taylor Fire and Houston County Sheriff’s deputy’s to the intersection of South Park and Battles Road in Rehobeth for a 2 vehicle motor vehicle collision with critical injuries and entrapment involving a semi truck and trailer and a passenger car. Upon arrival Rehobeth Fire advised of heavy damage no entrapment and the Battles Road and South Park was closed at this time. One driver was transported with non life threatening injuries. Battles Road is closed until the wreckage can be cleared please use caution in this area.
OZARK: 5:14 PM Ozark Police activated his/her blue lights. The vehicle they were behind activated their gas pedal. And the CHASE was on!!!!
The chase began on Andrews Avenue and turned on Westview. The vehicle was a white Crown Vic, The chase continued ton Magnolia and then turned right on Camilla.
The chase continued through WalMart parking lot, going through the parking lot and striking a vehicle in the parking lot of WalMart. The suspect bailed from the vehicle and began running on foot with Ozark Police chasing him. The suspect fled behind the garden center.
A Ozark Police Officer apprehended the suspect at Church Street at Camilla Drive and Dixie Drive.
Ozark Police and Dale County Sheriff Department assisted.
