At approximately 1:30pm Dothan 911 Dispatched Dothan Fire, Police, and EMS to the intersection of Montgomery Highway and John D Odom for a 2 car collision with unknown injuries. Upon arrival dothan Fire advised minor to moderate damage,road blockage of one lane and investigating injuries. The responding ambulance was cancelled as there were no patients. Please use caution in this area. 
DOTHAN/HOUSTON COUNTY: MIDLAND CITY/DALE COUNTY: 3:00 AM In the early morning hours, about 3:00 AM, Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police to a vehicle that was parked at a stop sign on West Powell Street in Dothan near Herring Street.
On arrival Dothan Police Patrol found the person unresponsive and not breathing. Dothan Police Patrol immediately pulled the person from the vehicle and officers began CPR as Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance Service was responding.
The person was pronounced dead on the scene. Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd was requested as was Dothan Police Criminal Invesigation Division. 20th Judicial Circuit District Attorney Russ Goodman ordered the body sent to Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for post mortem examination.
Dothan Police is in charge of the investigation.
IN MIDLAND CITY – DALE COUNTY: 04:20 AM Ozark – Dale County 911 dispatched Midland City Police Department, ECHO Rescue, and Dale County Sheriff Deputies tothe 4100 block of East Highway 134 in Midland City. The call was a 37 year old female subject not breathing and in responsive, and cold to touch.
On arrival the female was found to be deceased. Dale County Coroner John Cawley was notified and responded to the scene.
33rd Judicial CIrcuit District Attorney Kirke Adams has ordered a post mortem examination.
The investigation is being conducted jointly by Midland City Police Department and Dale County Sheriff Department.

ELBA – COFFEE COUNTY: TEXT RICKEY 334-790-1729 received a text last evening asking where five Coffee County Sheriff Deputies were headed last evening.
On Friday, September 19, 2025, the Elba Tigers lost their home football game to the Brantley Bulldogs with a score of 36-34. The game took place at Elba High School and was considered a close contest, marking Elba’s closest loss of the season
There was a fight that broke out at the game. RSN is in NO WAY AT ALL saying it was the football players. RSN just knows the deputies running lights and siren were responding to the football stadium where a fight broke out.
AGAIN … RSN is in no way saying it was either school or team. It could have been young people or parents saying an example of what not to do.

At 3:32 Houston County 911 Dispatched Madrid Fire, Rehobeth Fire And Rescue, And Houston County Sheriff’s Deputies to a 2 vehicle collision with critical injuries, both vehicles in the ditch and air bag deployment on both vehicles. The first unit to arrive on scene confirmed 2 vehicles in ditch with air bag deployment, heavy damage to both vehicles, one occupant possible broken leg.There is not any life threatening injuries and one patient was transported to hospital with possible broken leg. There is lane blockage at this time. According to witnesses there was a third vehicle involved that sideswiped one of the cars causing it to go off road thru the median and then struck by another vehicle heading southbound.The wreck is being investigated by ALEA Trooper Sanders. Please use extreme caution until this accident is cleared and watch out for emergency responders.
At 2:07 pm Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire, Police, and EMS to the 2700 block of West Main Street for a small suv has ran into the digital sign with Minor injuries. Command advised minor damage to the vehicle and the sign with one patient being transported to the hospital with minor injuries there is one lane blockage from the incident which has been cleared at this time.
HOUSTON COUNTY – ASHFORD: 8:14 PM. Houston County 911 dispatched a firearm assault.
The location was Highway 84 East and McDaniel Road.
Responding, Houston County Sheriff Deputies, ASHFORD Police and Ashford Rescue responded.
Shortly after arrival Houston County Sheriff Deputies declared scene safe for EMS. Deputies reported controlled bleeding to left hand, pointer finger.
